 All 52x counted. Really friendly today and they gathered right round me. No concerns. Checked the troughs too.

All 52x counted. The worst limpers are limping less, but I agree more of them seem to be affected. They all seem well in themselves. No concerns.

 The sheep were checked by the new trainee Chris today. He reported all 52 present with 2 lame sheep.

Some new signs put up today to warn people about track conditions on the permissive path side of the reserve. A lovely design by Ellie, identify the flower!

grazing team update, lame sheep

We have been out and looked at as many of the lame ones as we could catch. The ones we have treated have a green spray on there back. Hopefully they will be sorted now.

Wednesday 18th November

 52 counted,Several lame sheep as Ellie noted yesterday.A few had wandered through the hedge into the next field,but came back when they saw me.

More lame sheep! Ned and Chris should be coming out tomorrow to get the sheep in and sort them all out.  They are cute though!!

 All 52x counted. One or two are lame, but they seem fine otherwise and are grazing and keeping in with the flock. No concerns.

 Slow to update the blog, sorry......

All 52x counted. No concerns. Although some are still slightly lame, they're much better than before.

I've not checked the field edges for fireworks, but will try to do that over the next few days.

 All sheep looked OK today. We have added stock mesh to the southern central fence in the eastern compartment to stop dogs getting in.
