51 sheep, water trough was fine. I started heading towards the cobnuts but the sheep lost interest and stopped following me so I gave up. I haven’t actually checked if they’ve been refilled since they ran out a couple of weeks ago because this and last week I cut it too close to sunset and ran out of time before getting to them
Nice lady walking around the field politely interrogated me about what I was doing in the field and was really excited about the idea of government sheep. She may get in touch to volunteer, but probably won’t.

Sheep all appeared to be fine at the northern end of the field. They do come for the bucket but I feel guilty the rewards are so low! Didn't see any issues.

Wednesday 15th January
51 counted, all laying down across the dip in the field. They all followed me across to the far gate to find some sheep nuts but were very disappointed. Please could we have a top up.
Sheep looking good, one with a slight limp but managing well.

All 51x counted. Well spread out, but all grazing and all seem fine. I pulled a 2" layer of ice from the trough, but the supply pipe wasn't frozen and it refilled ok - although the first water from the tap came out pretty filthy.
They all seem calm and content.
