Friday February 5th

A foggy start to the day in Barton meadow made for sone difficulties in counting all the sheep there but as the mist cleared so I was able to account for all 50 . They were spread out on the south facing slope of the eastern section of the field in a loose group from the fence line to the centre of the field. All eating happily and no one obviously limping . Both troughs fine and fences sound.. saw five  roe deer crossing the eastern section of the field to lie in the rough grass area near the road . Also saw a pair of buzzards circling over the trees around Barton mark .

Have a good weekend
