I have left them by the caralle entrance to the large field of they are are anyone's lost property.
If not, I wonder whose they are... be interesting to know how many people jump the fences...
The hedgecutting looks a little drastic but hedgelayers are in next week to lay a section, and hopefully over the years we can build this up into a better, thicker hedge to attract birds and rodents as well as refuge fir insects!
Small field grazing low, will rearrange fencing so more is grazed in large field
Earlier this year, two teenagers were crossing the large field (south to north) to smoke on the bench at the northern edge, then cross back again. They were doing this a few times each week in April-May, but I think Ellie put some extra wire where they climbed the fence and this seemed to discourage them. I've not seen them since.
