Sun 17 Mar
All 16x counted. All seem fine. Most were lying down, including #105. I encouraged her to up, which she did without struggling. She wasn't keen to move far, so I couldn't see whether she's lame but she seems ok.
Trough full.

Metal detectorist
This chap had been working his way across the nature reserve, actively searching and digging, but had not gone into the grazing enclosures. He was on the arable field when I caught up with him. He was friendly, volunteered the fact that he shouldn't have been there (I didn't need to say anything) and he packed up and left.
Thu 14th Mar
One cow is lame on its back left #300105 (I'm only certain of the last 3 digits). It's moving around, but struggling to put weight on it, although I can't see swelling or an injury.
All others seem fine. Fence and trough fine.
