The cows have free roam of both parcels with the corral gates being open, please ensure they are left open.
As has been the case the electric fence is dismantled.
You will probably notice there is a lot of electric fence stakes dotted through out the reserve, particularly around the edge of the reserve. They have been laid out for the butterfly transect route as a reminder for the surveyors of the route. So from April you could come across people walking that transect, please join them if you have time and are interested :)
We will continue through spring to remove sycamore and buddleia from the education area. Clematis has been removed from the fenceline by the railway for fence longevity. And the tree guards have been removed by thr south of the reserve on the tarmac path.
